Background
Adrian was born in Boston and in 1999 completed an MA in Architecture at the Polytechnic University of Madrid. He has exhibited in Madrid and his work is included in private collections of UBS bank and Caja in Madrid. In 2006 he moved to London, and was part of Salon 07 at the Seven Seven gallery. Then in 2008 was chosen to exhibit in Illumini 2008. Since then Adrian had, a first solo show in London at the ADA gallery space in 2008 and In 2009, 2nd solo Implosion at Hammerson Art Space in Threadneedle street London.
Statement
Adrian's canvases consist of painting, collage, photography and screen printing. The painting shows a dance like rhythm, in the brush strokes and composition. The final outcome is that these paintings could be described by some observers as abstract and by others as figurative. He does not establish differences, for Adrian everything is the same. His objective is to express a point of view that swings as much towards the concrete as towards the infinite.
