Statement
Painting is the main media Suzan explores, but she has also made Installations, worked with video, led performance groups and photo media works.
A lot of Suzan's work contains visual messages, sometimes political, sometimes poetic. Many of her paintings contain text as an integral part of the composition and can be inspired from a newspaper heading, photograph, a line in a book or something someone says. Suzan has passion for colour within her work and says it's the main reason why she paints.
